Region 9 offers a variety of services to community groups, businesses and area governments.
Region 9 will provide meeting facilitation services for community groups and governments that fit Region 9's economic and community development mission. This includes community meetings, task force processes, one-time retreats, strategic planning, and coalition building. Region 9 does not provide mediation services.
All groups will receive 2 hours of consultation for no cost, and if Region 9 is unable to conduct your meeting, recommendations of other facilitators will be made.
Region 9 also partners with community groups, governments and the private sector to assist in the development of special projects.
Those services include:
Review and/or develop marketing literature and/marketing plans
Assistance with publicity
Nonprofit consultation including:
Evaluating pros and cons of project seeking 501 c(3) status and meeting nonprofit requirements
Reviewing bylaws, and other nonprofit operating documents
Data collection reports (Implan)
Partner on projects that are of economic benefit to a community
Other services available on request
Grant Writing & Research*
Region 9 will partner with governments and community groups that fit our mission to help them access a funding source for projects that are of economic benefit to a community. This includes:
Researching grants and other funding opportunities
Developing fundraising and grant writing plans
Reviewing grant applications
Helping organizations review and/or complete grant reports
Serving as a pass through or fiscal agent for appropriate grants
Writing grant applications as time allows and If applicant meets requirements and has appropriate match
Note: For-profit entities will be evaluated for grant applicability on a case-by-case basis.
